Quigley's is a book that impressed me very much, however I admit I skipped over a bit and used Skousen as a guide. It is an eye-opener in the sense that you are left with the impression that world affairs are indeed controlled by a select few individuals (Quigley counts himself as a unique specimen of those who are "in the know"), that economic miracles and depressions are largely engineered, that wars are started mostly so that profiteers can make money, etc. Not many have actually slogged through it's entire length. It is 1300 plus pages and much of it is quite difficult to wade through, especially the sections on economics. ![]()
